The Los Alamos County Ice Rink, which has been on a delayed opening due to mechanical issues, opens for public skating at 11:30 this morning.

Built in 1936, the Ice Rink is the only refrigerated, NHL regulation, outdoor Ice Rink in New Mexico. The rink offers public skating, hockey, and skating lessons through February.

Dress warmly, in layers, and know that whether it is stunning winter skies dotted with fluffy white clouds, or night skies filled with twinkling stars, everyone can enjoy an unforgettable skating experience
