Are you an artist in your spare time and a retired or current Los Alamos County employee?

Submit your fine art, fine crafts, and photography, including all types of drawing, oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, pastels, printmaking, fabric arts, jewelry, ceramics, woodcarving, and sculpture to the 2025 Los Alamos County Employee Art Showcase.

The deadline for submitting applications has just been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21.

The 2nd biennial Los Alamos County Employee Art Showcase will run Dec. 4 to Jan. 7 in Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library. This year retired Los Alamos County employees are invited as well as current employees to submit art they create, including photography.

The official “Call for Art (CFA)” and application for this exhibit is available to download at: https://stepupgallery.org/call-for-art/. Please follow the instructions written in the CFA. Gallery-ready art should be delivered either Saturday, Nov. 29, between 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. or Sunday, Nov. 30 between 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. to the Step Up Gallery, located on the upper level of Mesa Public Library.

The exhibit is a combined venture between Los Alamos County and Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library. Feel free to email one of the gallery managers at diane@stepupgallery.org with any questions.

The opening reception for participating artists and the public will take place 4-6 p.m. Dec. 4.
