Los Alamos
Los Alamos loves its Subarus and Subaru loves pets, so imagine this weekend all are sharing that love! Subaru has been part of the Santa Fe Animal Shelter (SFAS) family for almost 20 years, driving compassion, community, and countless happy endings.
“Their generosity has fueled our mission through tens of thousands of dollars in donations, countless supply drives, and events that have helped so many animals find loving homes,” said Lex Gowans, Manager of Marketing and Communications for SFAS. “Together, we’ve grown, evolved, and made a lasting impact for the pets and people of Northern New Mexico.” Once again, Subaru’s commitment in the belief that “love is what makes a Subaru, a Subaru,” will shine once again and help change lives for pets and people.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Oct. 25, at Subaru of Santa Fe, 7511B Cerrillos Road, a day full of wagging tails and good vibes is on the agenda.
Northern New Mexico will have the opportunity to meet some of our amazing adoptable pets, enjoy the company of fellow animal lovers, and take advantage of special adoption deals.
“It’s the perfect time to find your new best friend and celebrate the partnership that’s helped save lives for more than 15 years,” Gowans said.
If you can’t adopt, you can make this an opportunity to share your love with animals that could use some community engagement. Volunteers will happily accept donations of pet treats or toys to make the temporary stay at the shelter a bit better.
A few hours of fun and the ramifications for pets in need of a forever home are multiplied by many charitable deeds.
