Letter To The Editor: Support For Antonio Jaurigue—District 2 School Board Candidate

I am writing this letter in support of my brother, Antonio Jaurigue, who is running for the school board in District 2. Not only is he my older brother, but he is also one of the best people I know, and that’s not just my personal opinion. Many people in the Los Alamos and White Rock communities who know my brother share the same feeling. When people find out that I’m his sister, the conversation almost always turns into kind words about how genuine, caring, and down-to-earth he is.

Antonio is an incredible uncle to my three kids. He knows each of their unique personalities and finds special ways to connect with them. He’s the kind of person who makes every child feel seen, valued, and loved, something he does naturally with any child he meets.

He is also one of the best fathers I know. He sacrifices so much to ensure his own children feel supported and cherished, creating wonderful memories and a happy, stable childhood.

Antonio’s goal on the school board is simple yet powerful: to do what’s best for all children. He believes every child deserves equal opportunities to feel important, confident, and capable of achieving great things. He wants all students to know that the world truly is their oyster.

I am so proud to support my brother, and I know that if elected, he will bring his compassion, integrity, and deep commitment to children and education to the school board.
