Daily Postcard: Not really … it is a photo of the Milky Way taken last summer in Show Low, Ariz., artistically superimposed above a shot of the East Gate Guard Tower taken in September. Also known as the Los Alamos Fire Lookout, the East Gate Guard Tower, in place since 1948, has played a key role in monitoring both security threats and forest fires in and around Los Alamos.
