PEEC News:
The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Los Alamos Mesa Public Library invite families to a free special Summer Family Evening 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 at the Los Alamos Nature Center.
This delightful event is generously sponsored by the Del Norte LOV Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Del Norte Credit Union.

Storytime:
- Join the library youth services staff as they read “Kate, Who Tamed the Wind” by Liz Garton Scanlon & Lee White. This engaging picture book tells the story of a girl who tames the wind with creativity and determination.
Craft Activity:
- Create your own handmade soft breezes wind chime using provided materials and items found in nature. Participants will also learn to tie a sling knot to suspend their windchime for the breezes.
- Note: Children 5 and under will need their caregiver to assist them with the craft.
