‘7 Principles For Making Marriage Work’ Begins Sept. 15

Couples are invited to participate in an 8-week workshop titled “7 Principles For Making Marriage Work” led by Michelle Wilde, LPCC, LMT, CST, of Mullein Leaf Wellness Institute in Los Alamos.

The workshop is 4:30-6 p.m. Mondays beginning Sept. 15 and runs through Nov. 3.

The workshop is targeted to couples seeking to improve:

  • Communication;
  • Emotional Connection; and
  • Relational Skills.

“The Seven Principles class this Fall and make a difference in your committed relationship. A study exploring the benefits of the class versus just reading the book showed couples attending the class had twice the results in their relationship. Not only do you learn the skills, but you practice them with your partner in a guided way during a time and space dedicated to relationship enhancement. No personal information needs to be shared during class.”

“This 8-week workshop is not therapy, but is relationship education for people in almost all stages of a committed relationship. If you are in an abusive relationship, you or your partner has significant underlying mental health issues or need couples therapy, we invite you to receive that help prior to signing up for this class.”

The cost is $325 plus tax per couple for the course, which includes two Couples Workbooks and a copy of the 7 Principles book.

Michelle Wilde, LPCC, CST is certified through the Gottman Institute as a Seven Principles class leader. She is also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and EMDR provider who specializes in trauma remediation and nervous system regulation.
