The Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization (LARSO) announced this afternoon that the Los Alamos and White Rock senior centers will open Thursday, July 1with more regular hours.

The Betty Ehart Senior Center will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the White Rock Senior Center will open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The mask mandate will remain in place for those seniors who are un-vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus, and also for all employees.

There will be several safety protocols in place and the centers await word on some meeting gathering requirements for those eager to return.
