The 2025, 4th of July Spectacular & Summer Concert is 4-10 p.m. Friday at Ashley Pond Park with headliner Fortunate Son – a Creedence Clearwater (CCR) Revival Tribute band.

The day of entertainment begins at 4 p.m. with Los Alamos Community Winds – a staple of the 4th of July and featuring many of our area’s best classically trained musicians. Then, we will get the evening going at 5 p.m. with music from local Rock and Roll Band Syzygy.

Fortunate Son will take the stage at 7 p.m. to bring the house down – getting attendees dancing and singing to their favorite songs.

Combining timeless CCR favorites and Fogerty solo hits, Fortunate Son truly personifies the spirit and grit of America’s Favorite Rock & Roll Band!

This show, presented by Merrick and SMSI and sponsored by WHEEED!, is appropriate for all ages. It unites classic rock, country, blues, and folk music fans together like no other tribute act can. They feature the best of both worlds: timeless CCR classics and legendary Fogerty solo hits. From the swampy blues of Born On The Bayou and Green River, to the country influences of Bad Moon Rising, Lodi, and Lookin’ Out My Back Door. Rock anthems such as Proud Mary, Centerfield, Who’ll Stop The Rain, and Have You Ever Seen The Rain. All these classics are delivered with the authentic sound, look, and feel of John Fogerty.

Armed with vintage gear, Rickenbackers, Les Pauls, Fender, and Kustom Amps, Brad and Fortunate Son are “Rockin’ All Over the World” and very proud to be able to entertain our veterans as well as our troops at home and abroad.

Beginning at 9 p.m., the 4th of July Spectacular will launch the newest attraction of the event, a drone show provided by Sky Elements, which will conclude the event at 9:30 p.m. There will not be a fireworks display this year.

An important item to note for this year’s 4th of July Spectacular event is that this will function similarly to the Summer Concert Series, given that the venue is the same and it’s a Friday night. Handicapped Parking will be available in the lower Justice Center parking lot, off of Trinity Drive.

Atomic City Transit will be running from 3-10:30 p.m. in support of this event, and the Sullivan Field parking lot will be available for event attendees to park in order to take the shuttle. Additional information regarding the bus schedule and pick-up location to provided soon.

The Los Alamos Summer Concert Series is produced by Sancre Productions and the Los Alamos County Community Services Department. To find out more information, please visit our website, losalamossummerconcertseries.com, or our Facebook Page.
