2012 Los Alamos High School graduate Chase Ealey Jackson will represent the United States in the shot put at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She qualified by throwing the shot put 20.10 meters at the trials in Eugene, Ore.
During her years competing as a LAHS Hilltopper, Ealey Jackson won several state championships. In college she competed for Oklahoma State University.
Ealey Jackson has won the world championship in the shot put for the last two years.
The Olympic Games opening ceremony is July 26 and runs until Aug. 11.
