The 12th running of the Atomic Man Duatholon held Sept. 21 in White Rock started out of the Pinion parking lot.
 
The Atomic Man is a duathlon, which participants start with a run, then bike and finish with another run. The Fat Man portion of the race was a 5K run, 40K bike and a 10K run.
 
The Little Boy portion of the race was a 4K run, 12K bike and a 4K run. The Atomic Man is hosted by the Triatomics and has several sponsors and many volunteers. Proceeds will go to support underprivilaged cross country runners in northern New Mexico.
