100+ Women Who Care – Los Alamos News:

Both the women’s and men’s 100 Who Care volunteer organizers are continuing to take applications for grant consideration on a year-round, rolling basis from local nonprofit organizations. The Los Alamos Community Foundation is serving as the fiscal agent for these groups.

The application, linked here, has recently been simplified. Those who have already applied this year do not need to re-submit an application. Applications are open to nonprofits located in and serving Los Alamos County.

The 100 Who Care model is based on a national program that encourages local grassroots philanthropy. The volunteers in Los Alamos do not have the capacity to screen regional or statewide giving, but they are happy to share the model with volunteers who want to support local giving in other communities.

For details, email womenwhocarelosalamos@outlook.com & 100menwhocarelosalamos@gmail.com.

The community is invited to help grow this quarterly charitable event, which benefits local nonprofits by spreading the word and also letting local non-profit organizations know they can submit a grant proposal here: application.
