ZIA CU News:
For the third consecutive year, Zia Credit Union is celebrating the start of summer by hosting the Summer Music Fest. The event, which honors Northern New Mexico’s public safety heroes, takes place 5-10 p.m. on Friday, June 15 at the Plaza de Española at 706 E. Bond St., Española.
Designed to highlight the credit union’s commitment to community and collaboration, the music festival is also sponsored by KYBR – Real Country 92.9 FM, KDCE- ¿Que Dice? Radio, the City of Española, and the Española Valley Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free, and the event is open to the general public. Food will be available for purchase, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating.
The musical lineup features a blend of familiar faces and newcomers. Fan favorite, Sim Balkey returns to the Zia stage with his vibrant mix of modern and classic country music. Also making a repeat performance, Northern 505 and Candace Vargas promise an entertaining set of high-energy, “Northern New Mexico Style” music. Rounding out the evening’s entertainment, The Blue Ventures de Louis Sanchez will make their Summer Music Fest debut.
“We are proud to have so much talent in our area, and we are excited to have this opportunity to serve the community by supporting our local artists,” Zia Credit Union CEO David Woodruff said.
