Young Entrepreneur Launches ‘Best Buddy Baskets’ with Summer Business Grant

Los Alamos entrepreneur Madison Mas, 13, has opened “Best Buddy Baskets” specializing in gift baskets for dogs and cats.

She recently launched her new business after receiving a summer business grant from the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation under its Youth Business Grant Program.

Mas explained that her baskets are filled with treats and toys and make great gifts for pet adoptions, welcoming new pets, pets recovering from surgery, pet birthdays, house-warmings and celebrating holidays.

Her gift baskets are pre-made for cats or dogs. Prices range from $25-$45 and can be delivered to homes and businesses in the Los Alamos and White Rock areas.
