YMCA/Wise Fool NM Circus Camp Starts June 15

The Family YMCA & Wise Fool New Mexico offer circus camp (hurry, space is limited) June 15-19 for ages 7-18.
 
In this one-week workshop, youth will learn skills such as tumbling, partner acrobatics, clowning, juggling and stilt walking in a supportive, inclusive environment.
 
The process of learning circus skills is fun, and helps youth develop self-confidence, learn and practice teamwork, develop trust in themselves and others, and explore their unique self-expression. Non-competitive physical activity is provided to help youth develop balance, physical strength and healthy risk-taking.
 
Wise Fool New Mexico encourages youth to step outside their comfort zones and explore the thrill of the circus!
 
Camp will be at the YMCA Gymnasium on Irist Street: Mon-Fri.
  • Ages 7-10, 8-9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday; and
  • Ages 10-18, 9:45-11:15 a.m., Monday through Friday.

The cost for the program is $100/ $80 for Y members.
