YMCA: New Reach And Rise Director Dianna Reichelt

Dianna Reichelt

YMCA News:

The Family YMCA is pleased to announce the hiring of Dianna Reichelt as Reach and Rise program director. Reichel began work in her new job last Tuesday.

Reichelt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colo. She has a strong background in Social Services, providing Case Management/Care coordination to individuals with developmental disabilities for several years. Her working background includes serving as QDDP/CM with Easter Seals El Mirador; residential program coordinator with AWS/Benchmark Human Services; and for the last two years, she has been a Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver case manager in Santa Fe.

Although she lives in Santa Fe, Reichelt has close ties to the Los Alamos community – her parents (and aunts, uncles and cousins) were raised here, and even though her family moved to Washington when she was 9, Reichelt spent many of her childhood summers in Los Alamos with her grandparents and extended family.

Reichelt is renovating her grandparents’ old home with the help of her husband, Daniel, and their 6-year-old son Owen; and they plan to move into it once the home projects are completed.
