Wyoming Reader Spots His Yucca In Los Alamos Photo

William A. Sedlacek of Dubois, Wyo., sent in an email after spotting a photo of a towering yucca plant at the corner of Kimberly and Rover in White Rock, published July 4 in the Los Alamos Daily Post. ‘This is a Yucca Elata plant that I started from seed in about 1970! I sold the vacant lot to Don Gallegos about 1979 or 1980 and he built a house on it. He used the stone I had used to build the wall and rebuilt it to what it is today; but the plant remained on the corner and flourished under his tender care. Photo by Shari Mills
