The White Rock Master Plan Implementation Advisory Committee (WRMPIC) held its final meeting June 13 at the White Rock Branch Library.
The WRMPIC served for several years as an advisory body to Los Alamos County for the purpose of achieving the economic revitalization of White Rock through implementation of the principles, objectives and associated action as provided in the White Rock Master Plan/Economic Development Strategy.
The WRMPIC provided guidance and served as a resource to County staff in the formulation, development, championing and execution of specific economic revitalization projects. Additionally, the WRMPIC served to ensure communication of project progress with the White Rock community, with the residents of the County and with the County Council.
The WRMPIC also advised and collaborated with County staff in the process of crafting and bringing forward specific projects necessary to advance and expedite the implementation of the White Rock Master Plan/Economic Development Strategy.
The Council will recognize the committee and its years of dedication to the White Rock community at its July 19 council work session.
