World Famous Harpsichordist Performs At Noon Today

The Los Alamos Arts Council continues its 2015 Brown Bag Performance Series featuring world famous harpsichordist Kathleen McIntosh at noon today in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge.

McIntosh performs widely, in festivals in Havana, Lima, Deia (Mallorca) and Tsuyama and with the Santa Fe Chamber Festival since 1996. A member of local groups Serenata of Santa Fe, Santa Fe Pro Musica and the Santa Fe Symphony, she also has been soloist with the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin in Moscow, Vietnam National Symphony in Hanoi, Solistas de La Habana, Santa Fe Friends in Tsuyama, and with many American groups.

This year she also will be teaching in Cuba, Peru and Poland. In November 2015, she will play the entire Clavier-Ubung of J.S.Bach in Los Angeles with organist Ron McKean. Recordings are on Gasparo and Maricam.

Brown Bag Performances connect performers to the community. Performances are held at 12 p.m. usually on the first Wednesday of each month but dates may vary.
