In Tuesday’s final Atomic City Road Runners Club Pace Race of the 2015 season, Laura Woodroffe had a 5 second differential from her predicted time and the best time for a female finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 20:55 on the Canyon Rim Trail.
Other accurate predictors were Roxana Candia, Isolina Viloria, and Valerio Pinchetti all 8 seconds off their predicted time. Pinchetti was also the fastest finisher on the 3 mile course recording a 18:52. Jesse Woodroffe was 14 seconds off followed by Lyle Cunningham with a 15 second difference and Ryan Smeltzer with 17 seconds.
There were distances of 1 mile, 1.5 miles, 2 miles, and 3 miles available.
In the 1 mile competition Lauraine Maness was the best finisher at 9:00 and 5-year-old Diego Leonard was the first male with a time of 9:42. Jeanette Rondeau was tops in the 1.5 mile distance at 16:02 and Reid Rivenburg was the best male recording a 19:19. The 2 mile race had Isolina Viloria first at 18:15.
The Club will co-sponsor the annual Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk and Turkey Trot at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov 22.
