The National Weather Service predicts a significant winter storm could impact New Mexico Thursday night through Saturday. Rain and snow will develop Thursday across western and central New Mexico, continuing through Friday night into Saturday as snow levels drop to valley levels. Freezing precipitation with light ice accumulations are possible Thursday night into Friday morning, with more significant winter weather possible Friday night into Saturday morning for eastern New Mexico.
