NWS News:
The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that weather conditions will continue to deteriorate across the region through tonight as a potent upper level storm system approaches from Arizona.
Widespread heavy rainfall is still expected to impact the lower elevations through Sunday while very heavy snow impacts the higher terrain.
Widespread precipitation amounts of 1 to 2 inches will likely create some minor to moderate rises on arroyos and small streams, as well as the Pecos River. Rain falling on snow in mid-slope elevations of northern New Mexico may create some rises on tributaries to the Rio Grande.
