Water Line Break At Golf Course Under Repair

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews responded to a break on a 16-inch water transmission line at the Los Alamos Golf Course near Woodland Trail.

The break was reported this morning at 6 a.m. and affected water tanks that provide drinking water to North and Barranca Mesas.

Some customers in these neighborhoods may have experienced low water pressure.  

Crews isolated the break and water pressure by around 7 or 8 a.m. should have returned to normal.

Repairs to the water line are underway and should be completed before the end of today.

No interruption to water services is anticipated.
