COUNTY News:

Water crews from Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) are responding to multiple water leaks on Los Pueblos Street on Barranca Mesa.

Residents on the stretch of Los Pueblos from Chaco to the dead end are likely to experience reduced water pressure while repairs are being made.

No roads are closed for the work however drivers are asked to pass work zones cautiously.

The causes of the leaks haven’t been identified yet. DPU’s water operations staff don’t expect to turn water off in the neighborhood unless the repairs require underground pipe replacement, in which case any water disruption should not last more than a couple of  hours.
