HFH News:
Two homes are under construction within the Camino Habitat Subdivision a quarter-mile south of Espanola on Los Alamos Highway/State Road 30.
There is a large Habitat sign at the entrance to Camino Habitat. The public is invited to volunteer on any of the following Saturdays:
- May 10;
- May 24;
- June 7; and
- June 24.
Work starts at 9 a.m. and finishes about 3:30 p.m.
Dress appropriately for the weather, bring a water bottle if possible and snacks if desired, lunch is provided. Bathrooms and a refrigerator are on site.
Volunteers may bring their own hammer or other tools , however, tools are provided for use at the work site. No special skills are required, Tony the strawboss will explain instructions for the day. Volunteer forms and safety waivers are at the site for volunteers to complete upon arrival.
