Former Los Alamos County Councilor Vincent P. Chiravalle filed for State Representative District 43 today at the Secretary of State’s Office in Santa Fe. Chiravalle will face fellow Republican Geoff Rodgers in the June 3 Primary Election. The winner of that race will face Democrat Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard in the November General Election. Chiravalle said that he believes in core Republican principles and wants to apply common sense conservative solutions that put state government on the side of our citizens – adding that he has a proven track record of fighting for the needs of working people, families and small businesses. ‘As the Representative of District 43, I will continue to put principals ahead of politics, work to control spending and reduce taxes, promote economic growth, help our schools and listen to your input,’ he said.
