Victim Of Crash Today On N.M. 4 Has Died

The driver of an 18-wheeler involved in a single vehicle accident this morning on N.M. 4 near the Sandoval County line has died.

Emergency responders at the scene said the rig left the roadway and rolled over several times. The identity of the driver has not been released. There were no passengers.

The N.M. 4 back gate to Jemez Springs remains closed westbound and N.M. 4 eastbound near the Valles Caldera is closed and will remain so until the investigation into the cause of the accident is concluded.

N.M. 4 to Bandelier is open.
