Vets Integration Centers Receives Daniels Fund Grant

VIC News:

ALBUQUERQUE  The New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (VIC) announced today that it has received a $50,000 grant from the Daniels Fund to support its programs for homeless and low-income Veterans.

“The grant will enhance our ability to provide transitional housing, emergency shelter, and supportive services to Veterans and their families and our food pantry programs,” VIC Chief Executive Officer Elinor Reiners said. “Last year we provided services to over 700 Veterans. This grant enables us to meet our goals again this year,”.

Established in 2005, the VIC has been assisting homeless Veterans to achieve stable housing and a stable income, providing services to homeless Veterans for over 11 years.

This major gift will have significant impact on the VIC’s ability to answer to needs of homeless and low-income single Veterans and Veterans with families.
