Velechovsky Top Predictor In Final Pace Race Of Season

Jan Velechovsky had a perfect prediction of 10:00 in the 1 mile run on the Canyon Rim Trail Tuesday in the final Atomic City Road Runners Pace Race of the 2018 season.  
 
Other accurate predictors were: Becky Chamberlin with a 6 second difference as well as the first finisher in the 2 mile distance with a 20:56, Bob Weeks recording a 6 second delta as well, Luke Hetrick at 12 seconds off and the top finisher in the 3 mile race recording a 17:12, Heidi Bjorklund with 15 second difference, and Aaron Jackson at 19 seconds off.
 
Evan Vincent, 14, was the first finisher in the 1 mile run at 6:27 and his sister Ellie, 11, was the top female recording a 6:51.
 
In the 1.5 mile distance, Linda Vance was first at 17:09 and the best male finisher was Brian Newnam with a 20:10.
 
Nikol Strother was the best female finisher in the 3 mile race recording a 19:21.
 
The Club will co-sponsor the Annual CROP Turkey Trot at 2 p.m. at Los Alamos Middle School, Sunday, Nov. 18, with sign up beginning at 1 p.m. More specific information will be forthcoming.
