VCNP Seeking Volunteers For Public Lands Day Sept. 24

VCNP News:

National Public Lands Day is Sept. 24 and Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) volunteers are needed!

Individuals and groups are invited to participate in one of two volunteer projects at Valles Caldera National Preserve and be a part of National Public Lands Day, the nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Interested in joining NPS staff on selected work projects?

Contact NPS to register:

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the Entrance Station for orientation. Project leads will introduce themselves and the projects, and then lead volunteers to the work sites. 

Register early!

Food will be provided by Los Amigos de Valles Caldera for volunteers registering by the end of the day Monday, Sept. 19.

NOTE: VCNP needs an early head count for food!
