Los Alamos police and firefighters rushed to the scene of an accident around 7:15 p.m. today in which a van ran into the back of a 18 wheeler with flatbed trailer parked on Bryce Street in front of Pinon Park Pool. EMTs checked out the driver and his passenger and released both at the scene. Officers said the driver was going about 20 miles per hour heading west on Bryce when the glaring sun impaired his ability to see the parked rig in front of him. Photo by Carol A.
