Valles Caldera National Preserve Offers Reward For Information On Cow Elk Poacher

JEMEZ SPRINGS — Late on the evening of Monday, March 5, or early in the morning hours of Tuesday, March 6, a cow elk was poached in the Valles Caldera National Preserve. The incident occurred along N.M. 4 near mile post 41.

Park Rangers are requesting the public’s help in solving this crime. A reward of up to $1500 will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
