NSDAR News:

The Valle Grande Chapter, NSDAR, celebrated 50 years of service last week on Sept. 13. Fellow daughters came from Taos and Albuquerque to join us at Gabriel’s Restaurant, including the State Regent, Deborah Robb. Regent Linda Carol Alt presented the restoration project of the Oppenheimer house by the Los Alamos Historical Society, encouraging support by the Daughters present. They remain active in the Los Alamos community. Next month the chapter will host a Genealogy workshop at the SALA on Saturday, Oct. 11. This event is free and open to the public.
