The United Way of Northern New Mexico’s grant cycle is now open for 2019 Interim Summer Grant Applications. Due date is May 3.
 
UWNNM is providing an interim summer grant funding cycle to allow for important summer programs and unanticipated emergency needs. All monies awarded during the Interim Summer Grant cycle must be spent by Sept. 9.

NM Counts 2020 Deadline Extended to May 13
 
NM Counts 2020 announces a grant cycle for Community-based Outreach to Hard-to-Count (HTC) Immigrant Communities for the 2020 Census. The goal of this grant opportunity is to increase the participation rates in HTC New Mexico immigrant communities by 5 percent. Grants range from $5,000 to $25,000. Deadline to submit requests for proposals has been extended to 5 p.m., May 13, with work beginning June 28 and ending by April 17, 2020. Click on the link for a full RFP description.

2019 Annual Conference for Nonprofits
 
LACF will hold its 4th annual nonprofit conference 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 10. This year’s topic is on Board Development. Learn key board responsibilities, expectations, and best practices, with a focus on financial oversight. The event is free to attend.
 
The Los Alamos Community Foundation will provide attendees with their own copy of the New Mexico Nonprofit Principles & Practices Guide and companion workbook ($50 value). One per organization.
