Tuit Construction will be working Wednesday through Friday on San Ildefonso South west of the Hawk Drive intersection in North Mesa.
In support of the middle school construction and to increase fire protection, Tuit will cut-in a new 12-inch water main that will cross San Ildefonso. While no customer water shut-offs are anticipated, motorists can expect some delays.
Scheduled work includes:
- From 8 am to 9 pm San Ildefonso will be reduced to a single lane just west of Hawk Drive intersection as crews install and cut-in the 12-inch water line.
- The open lane will shift on San Ildefonso as the work zone moves across the road.
- Flaggers will alternate east and west bound traffic on the shifting open lane.
- No water shut-offs are scheduled.
The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities reminds motorists to use caution when driving through the work zone. Questions may be directed to the County at 505.662.8333 or by email at email@example.com.
