Update: Police Locate Missing Teenager Hunter Ferris

Jonathan Ferris contacted the Los Alamos Daily Post this evening at 9:30 to say Los Alamos police officers have located his missing son 15-year-old Hunter Ferris and he is safe.

Hunter Ferris went missing Friday evening during the summer concert at Ashley Pond Park. His parents appealed to him to come home and asked anyone who knows where he is to contact them or call the Los Alamos Police Department Dispatch.

According to Jonathan Ferris, his son Hunter Ferris was last seen around 8:15 p.m., Friday at the Gordon’s Concert at Ashley Pond Park. Jonathan Ferris said Hunter told him he was not coming home and took off with friends. He said he didn’t believe Hunter was in any danger and that he was probably hiding out with friends.

Jonathan Ferris said the situation was reported to LAPD and police officers began searching various places around town hoping to find Hunter.
