Update On Los Alamos County Leisure Lagoon Schedule

COUNTY News:

Since Aug. 5, the Los Alamos County Leisure Lagoon has been under construction to install tench drains into the floor, which required cutting and removing of concrete.

While the project has gone relatively smoothly, as with any construction project there have been some delays. In order to provide the public with properly repaired and cleaned space, the re-opening of the Leisure Lagoon is delayed until Oct. 16, 2023.  

LAC would like to remind everyone that the main pool and therapy pool are open during the week and are now open 9-11:30 a.m. Saturdays.  

When the Lagoon does re-open, the schedule is planned as the following: 

  • Starting Oct. 16 – Nov. 23, 2023
  • Monday – Friday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. & 3:30– 6:30 p.m.
  • Additionally, starting Oct. 21, 2023, the Leisure Lagoon will be open 12-3 p.m. Saturdays
