Solace Crisis Treatment Center Education and Prevention Department Manager Jess Clark presents “Bystander Intervention Workshop: Learning How To Safely Take Action” 9-11 a.m. Friday, April 27 at UNM-Los Alamos, Building 5 in Wallace Hall.
Bystander Intervention is about how to intercede in sexual assault or sexual harassment, either by offering to help a victim or by standing up to a perpetrator. In this workshop the participants will explore some common rape myths, learn about bystander theory, and engage with some common scenarios and how to intervene.
The Los Alamos community, students and faculty are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
