Digital devices and social media are integral parts of daily life for most people and can be important sources of access, productivity, and social connection.

This presentation will summarize current understandings of the potential risks and benefits of digital devices and media for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Screen dependence will be defined, and associated physical and mental health risks will be reviewed. Evidence-informed interventions to leverage benefits while minimizing risks will be discussed.
