UNITED CHURCH News:
- Los Alamos church still multi-denominational after 70 years
The United Church of Los Alamos at 2525 Canyon Road was the Army Chapel back in 1947 serving Catholic, Jewish and Protestant worshipers. Today it represents six Protestant denominations:
- American Baptist;
- Christian Church (Disciples of Christ);
- Moravian Church;
- Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.);
- Reformed Church in America; and
- United Church of Christ.
Its doors are open to anyone who wants to worship God. In addition to its regular service at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary, there is an 8 a.m. worship service in its small chapel. Please join us at this time if you are interested in a small, more informal service, in a fragrance-free environment, led by a pastor.
If you like to start your Sundays early, the service ends by 8:45 p.m. For more information, call 505.662.2971 or visit unitedchurchla.org.
