DPU News:
Officials at the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities reported that power was interrupted to about 12 homes in the Big Rock Loop area of North Mesa beginning at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday due to underground line interference.
Underground main secondary lines faulted affecting a transformer and its power flow to the homes.
DPU’s on-call electric line men worked to restore power to half of the homes by 1:30 a.m. and repair work continued through the morning and the remaining homes had power by 12:45 p.m. Thursday.
