ALBUQUERQUE – Friday Nov. 9, U.S. Sen. Tom Udall will be the featured guest at a Women at Intel (WIN) forum in Rio Rancho to discuss the importance of providing women and girls with skills to succeed in the workforce.
At Intel Corporation, Udall will meet with senior staff and participate in an open forum hosted by Women at Intel Network (WIN), an employee organization.
He will emphasize the importance of encouraging more women and girls to enter into the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM.)
Saturday Nov. 10, Udall will have classified meetings at Sandia National Laboratories with Director Paul Hommert.
Sunday Nov. 11, Udall will speak at Veterans Day: Honoring Native American Veterans, an event hosted by the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in conjunction with the New Mexico Indian Affairs Department, the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions and New Mexico True.
The event will be attended by Bataan veteran Tony Reyna and Navajo Code Talker Jack Jones.
