The deadline to apply for positions is flexible, but students interested in spring internships are encouraged to submit their applications by Dec. 16.
“Congressional internships are an invaluable experience for anyone interested in public service,” Udall said. “As interns, students will get a first-hand look into ‘the world’s greatest deliberative body’ while fulfilling an important role in my office.”
All internships may count toward college credit. Students should check with their respective college or university for requirements. College students who are from New Mexico or attend New Mexico schools are given first preference, and students of all majors are encouraged to apply.
