Udall Hosts Roundtable To Highlight Need To Extend LWCF At Valles Caldera National Preserve Friday

U.S. Sen. Tom Udall

U.S. SENATE News:

U.S. Sen. om Udall will host a roundtable discussion Friday on the urgent need to extend the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) at Valles Caldera National Preserve.

The LWCF conserves and promotes public access to the country’s national parks, forests and public lands, but it is set to expire at the end of the month without congressional action. New Mexico Wildlife Federation leaders and several other conservation partners will join the conversation.

While at the Valles Caldera, Udall also will receive an update on the management transition from the Valles Caldera Trust to the National Park Service.
