SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos Rams Under-8 (“Mites”) hockey team finished their 2016-17 season with tournaments in Taos and Albuquerque on the weekends of 18 and 25 February.

On the weekend of 18 Feb., the Rams U-8 Travel Team took second place in the Taos Presidents Day Mites Tournament. They demonstrated teamwork, skill, and character in the final, where they gave a bigger and more experienced Albuquerque team a scare by keeping the game very close to the end.

On the weekend of 25 Feb., two Rams U-8 Recreational Teams played in the Albuquerque NM Year-End Mites Festival. The Rams faced teams from Taos, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, and Albuquerque. The players worked hard and had a great time.
