The Los Alamos Creative District is bringing back recording artist Dr. Hall for the third year as part of the Tuesday at the Pond concert series.
He will take the stage 6-8 p.m. June 28 at Ashley Pond Park.
Inspired by early blues legends, country, Americana, folk and rock & roll artists, Dr. Hall is a Santa Fe, Ne based singer/songwriter whose music shares the hard luck and trouble experienced by so many as well as a love of life.
Dr. Hall started playing music professionally at age 14 and was touring the country by age 18. He was nominated as the Best Singer/Songwriter in 2020 by the New Mexico Music Awards for his song “The Power of Us.”
Dr. Hall was a resident of Los Alamos for many years and spent 28 years working at National Laboratories with eight years at the Idaho National Laboratory and 20 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Dr. Hall has released five albums with Smoky Mountain Music LLC. His music can be found digitally on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, ReverbNation and most other digital music distributors.
2022 Tuesdays at the Pond remaining schedule:
- June 28 – Dr. Hall – Original Blues, Folk and Americana music. Opening act by En Pointe School of Dance;
- July 12 – The Hill Stompers – Kick-off ScienceFest with the jazzy street band from Los Alamos. Opening act by Belisama Irish Dance;
- July 19 – Professor Penguin – Local Los Alamos garage band plays fun funk and jazz tunes. Opening act by the Atomic City Swing;
- July 26 – DK & The Affordables – Green Chile fueled Southwestern Vintage Rock-n-Roll. Opening act by local all-girl rock-n-punk band, KAI; and
- Aug 2 – The Blues Revue – Old-timey originals, modern folk, blues, and the Dead. Opening act by Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA).
