Truck Driver Hauling 150 Pigs Charged With DWI

NMSP News:

New Mexico State Police officers stopped a semi-truck loaded with 150 pigs Thursday on Interstate 40 in Albuquerque for suspected DWI.

The driver was subsequently arrested for DWI.

NMSP worked with EXPO New Mexico State Fairgrounds, the New Mexico Livestock Board and a local veterinarian to get the pigs cared for until a transport truck arrived.
