SPORTS News:

The Topper Boys Basketball Team played host to the Taos Tigers Wednesday evening in a conference game in Griffith Gymnasium.

The Tigers were the favorites going into the contest with their strong win/loss record.

The Toppers were still reeling from their losses to the Sundevils and Horseman in their two previous games.

The Toppers started out strong and kept it up for all four quarters to win the contest 61-59.

This was a very exciting game to watch with its fast paced, physical action by both teams and was very tense in the final few minutes as the Toppers managed to hold off the Tigers.
