Trinity/Diamond Eastbound Pothole Repair April 25-26

COUNTY News:

Weather permitting, Public Works Traffic and Streets Division will be potholing on Trinity Drive next to Los Alamos Medical Center beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 25. It is expected to take approximately one hour to complete the project.

The left turn lane (eastbound turn lane) on Diamond Drive that takes drivers on to Trinity Drive next to LAMC will be closed for one hour at 9:30 a.m. while crews repair potholes at the intersection.

The bike lane leading from the Omega Bridge toward Trinity Drive also will be closed while crews stage equipment to make the repairs.

The East bound lane/traffic coming from West Trinity across the Diamond intersection will also be closed for one hour at 9:30 a.m.

Drivers will have to re-route through Canyon Road.

After this work is completed at the intersection of Trinity and Diamond, crews will continue working with a contractor who will complete bore testing between Trinity Drive and Orange Street on Diamond Drive. Traffic control will be set up according to the needs of the contractor at the time of the event, however expect a lane closure in this area (between Trinity Drive and Orange Street).

The map below indicates all the closures in RED for the work being done at the Intersection of Trinity and Diamond.

Please obey all traffic signs and proceed slowly through these work zones. Watch for crews and keep a safe distance from the machinery.
