Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet Set For Oct. 24

Friday Oct. 24, 4-6:30 p.m., Los Alamos MainStreet hosts Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet in downtown Los Alamos.

Last year more than 3,000 people attended the event. Local businesses and organizations will open their doors and set up tables along Central Avenue to hand out treats to costumed trick-or-treaters.

A performance by Dance Arts Los Alamos will start at 5 p.m., followed at 5:15 p.m. by the High Flyers Gymnastics. The Hallowiener Parade will march down the street at 5:30 p.m. followed at 6 p.m. by a New Mexico Dance Theater performance. Find a complete event list at losalamosmainstreet.com/events.

Festivities will continue 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 25 with pumpkin carving on the Fuller Lodge patio. New this year and starting at 4 p.m. is the Masquerade Recital at Fuller Lodge. The Los Alamos County Pumpkin Patch and Hayride is 4-6 p.m. at the Posse Lodge. The Los Alamos Arts Council will host the Pumpkin Glow 6-9 p.m. on the lawn at Fuller Lodge and Los Alamos MainStreet will provide entertainment 6:30-9 p.m. by The Nomads inside Fuller Lodge.
